RETURN FROM VACATION
This is a return from my vacation from writing this blog. I have a lot of new ideas that I want to share and will be posting from time to time. The following is copied from a recent Livestock Weekly Column:
I am greatly encouraged by a story I read in Acts and Facts published by the Institute of Creation Research. The story tells about the launch March 18 that will place Astronaut Col. Jeffry Williams back for another six months’ tour of duty on the International Space Station. Col. Williams sees God’s design in the details of the earth. And how God’s laws are behind all of the physics and mathematics that lets us design and operate space vehicles. He can see how vibrant the Earth is with all the systems that support life on earth. It is great to have a creation scientist performing scientific studies on the ISS.
I have been adding some creation science comments in my column for the last couple of months.
My latest interest is in carbon 14 dating. I would like to examine C14 dating using a young earth assumption. Questions like was there any C14 in the original atmosphere of the earth? The current C14 dating process assumes that C14 is formed from high energy particles striking N14 and removing a proton to create C14 and that this has been constant for at least 100,000 years. This doesn't fit my young earth model so I would like to look at several approaches that would and to examine C14 data that is rapidly accumulating in labs.
